What is Retirement Counseling?
Dr. Wesley has seen so many people who come to Florida to live in the sun, play golf and fish for marlin. However, while seniors often look forward to retirement, they are often unprepared for the stress and mental health disequilibrium resulting from retirement. Many find they have left everything that has brought them happiness in the past, their job, children, church, family doctor, and supportive networks. They have done very little to prepare for life after retirement. The stress of these new experiences, lowered fixed income and lack of support often only exacerbate the aging process and people often experience failing physical health long before they should.
Dr. Wesley will guide and support his clients by reviewing financial, familial, social, sexual, spiritual, occupational, physical and psychological needs and helping them make informed decisions for their retirement future. For those who have already retired, he helps them set new goals and find renewed happiness and support that was missing.

Covered Areas
- Financial and Occupational Health: Saline, Silicone Gel, or Highly Cohesive Silicone “Gummy Bear” Implants. Neither is “best,” but there are some differences in cost, feel, and incision requirements that you need to consider. Your cosmetic surgeon will help you find the right implant type for you.
- Social and Family Support: Saline & Silicone Gel implants are typically round, while gummy bear implants come in shaped and round options. Round implants will typically achieve a fuller upper pole (the top portion of your breast), while shaped implants lend a gently sloping look to your breast profile. - Sexual Health: Your cosmetic surgeon will help you choose this based on your existing proportions and your goals. Generally, patients with a more petite frame will require a higher profile implant to achieve the desired size increase while ensuring the implants are not too wide at the base.
- Spiritual Health: Breast implants range in size from about 150cc to 800cc or larger. Many patients require a different sized breast implant for each breast; this helps to achieve the best possible symmetry. The size you choose depends on your existing breast size, your personal goals, and your cosmetic surgeon’s recommendations.
